Miramar Essentials

It can't be emphasised enough how beautiful Miramar and the surrounding Safor regions are, it is also very family orientated. Miramar only has a population of just over 2000 and the village still retains that Spanish charm. Many Spanish families from Northern cities like Madrid take their vacations in the region making the entire experience very authentic. As there are so many places that you need to see, the web site contains a section describing local amenities and sightseeing and the other top sights within the entire Provence of Valencia.

Sport

For those more active there is also a very comprehensive Sports Centre. Also a great place to eat and have a few drinks whilst catching up on the football on the outside Terrace area with large TV. Go to their web site to see membership options

Swimming - Centre Esportiu el Molí

Miramar has it's own Indoor and Outdoor municipal swimming pools and sports centre having a massive range of fitness and sports activities. Situated on the main road just outside the village, you will pass it on RHS if walking to the Playa. The bus stop provides a link between all the local beaches up to Gandia and runs during summer months only.

Moors and Christians Festival

Miramar celebrates its Board of Trustees from August 6 to 12, in honour of the patron saint of the municipality, Sant Andreu. For a week, festive, musical and fun events are organized for all tastes and ages, culminating in the Moors and Christians parade and the Pyromusical Firework Display.

Bar Trafic

A lively but authentic bar serving a range of food, tapas and good selection of drinks. This is just across the road from apartment.
